Well, I’ve updated to WordPress 2.5. With that, I’ve also changed my theme to one that supports widgets.
This is spurred by a request Dave made the other day, to have a way to print blog posts in a readable way, without comments. To this end, I added the wp-print plugin, which gives you a link to a printable version, without comments, and with all links as footnotes at the bottom (all of this configurable, of course). Note that, if you’re using WordPress 2.5 like I am, at the time of this writing you need to use the beta version located here.
So, in the interest of making Dave happy, please add a print link, or I’m afraid Dave might take drastic measures, possibly involving kittens.

Thanks Joe! I appreciate the Print This Page link, and I like the new site layout. (It does look better in black.)
One note: your Valid XHTML link at page bottom, when clicked, says the markup is invalid.
Thanks again,
-Dave

@David, because of you, I spent some time last night a) removing the target from all of my links, b) adding alt text to all of my images. Luckily, the former was as simple as a mysql query using the REPLACE() function, and the latter I wrote a simple script to spit out all the offending imagers. I tried making the Akismet widget xhtml compliant, but just gave up and removed it. My theme has always been black; what you saw before was the new widget theme I switched to, and then yesterday I modified it to look pretty much like my old theme.
@Mackenzie, that’s because I fixed it already.

You could always add some print media CSS to a good theme (such as sandbox — beautiful for CSS design) to make your print outs awesome.
See http://www.olpc.org.au for a simple example.
